Performance Physical Therapist
I was raised along the OC/LA county border in Cerritos and Seal Beach. I grew up as a child who loved to play outdoors, cycling through sports year round. I have played basketball for as long as I can remember, was a volleyball player throughout high school, and now enjoy recreational golf. I also have a passion for strength and conditioning and am a certified specialist in the field.
I attended California State University, Fullerton and received my B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Sciences followed by the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I decided I wanted to become a physical therapist when I recognized the power of knowledge when it came to the human body. I wanted to be able to educate others on how to take control of their own health and improve their quality of life; this along with my passion for athletics and performance brought me to where I am now.
I began my career working in a general outpatient orthopedic office and have experience working with a variety of diagnoses, surgeries, and types of people. I use soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional exercise in my treatments. I love teaching while I treat, so that my patients can learn the reasons why I do things and use the rationales for the rest of their lives.
In my free time, I love going to live music events, trivia nights, playing sports, checking out new restaurants, breweries, and cafes, attempting new hobbies, and spending time with my close family and friends. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and helping you be your best possible self!
