Performance Physical Therapist
Hi everyone! I was born and raised in Oregon, and came to California about 7 years ago for college. Throughout my youth and highschool years, I competed in various sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball & softball, track, and cross country.I received my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara. I was blessed to receive an athletic scholarship to compete on their women’s basketball team, where we won a national championship my senior year!
During my time at Westmont, I was heavily involved in the athletic training room as well as in youth sports in the community. I had many health related impairments in this period of my life which allowed me to spend ample time with our physical therapists. This is where I found my love for the profession and realized that the amount of time you can spend with the patient and the deep and rich relationship that you can create cannot not be found in many other professions.
After graduation, I went straight into pursuing my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California. Due to my vast background and pure love for sports, I spent the majority of my clinicals in outpatient, sports-related clinics, and worked hard to receive my credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in addition to my physical therapy degree.
I find great joy in playing sports of any kind and working with athletes of all kinds, getting to know their passions, what motivates them, and ultimately working together to optimize their performance at a level they have never reached before. I have recently planted my roots in the South Bay and am looking forward to ingraining myself in the community. If you are a runner, functional fitness athlete, golfer, youth athlete, or competitor of any kind, I am confident that we can work together to reach your goals!
We help everyday athletes like YOU bounce back from injuries and get back to performing at their highest levels!
